Biography

Qifeng is a first-year Ph.D. student in the Computing Department of PolyU, supervised by Prof. Ken Yiu. Before that, he received the M.Sc. degree from CUHK in 2024 and B.Eng. degree from HIT in 2023.

Research Statement

My research focuses on vector databases, approximate nearest neighbor search (ANNS), and data management systems, with an emphasis on efficient indexing, query optimization, and scalable similarity search. In addition, I'm quite interested in solving algorithm problems from codeforces.
